Dr Valerie Garrow is Associate Director at the Institute for Employment Studies, leading the HR research and consultancy team. Valerie has recently joined IES from Roffey Park where she was Head of Research. Her research interests include the people aspects of mergers, acquisitions and partnerships and the impact of major change on the psychological contract. She has been involved in research, training and consultancy in this field for over 10 years and, amongst her other publications, has co-authored Reaping the Benefits of Mergers and Acquisitions published by Butterworth Heinemann. She also has experience in developing leadership frameworks and talent management strategies.
