Scott McKenzie has extensive experience of managing complex and high profile change and internal communications programmes, particularly within Financial Services companies.
With a strong track record in developing and implementing strategies which deliver effective business results, he brings hands-on experience of managing internal communications, marketing, PR and training.
Scott has considerable experience of working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure that they are fully engaged in change initiatives. He brings a professional, focused approach to any change project.
Previous Experience
Before joining Hill and Knowlton, Scott oversaw the business and operational strategy for the Mortgage and General Insurance businesses of NatWest in the UK.
He held a variety of roles at Royal Bank of Scotland Group including managing the internal and external communications for the Private Banking business.
Scott’s responsibilities included managing and working with the Retail business to support a number of business restructuring programmes.
He has extensive experience of brand strategy and development, this included leading a corporate rebranding exercise. Scott also developed and facilitated a programme of brand values workshops for employes.e
Scott started his career at Lloyds TSB where he worked on various internal communications channels within the corporate communications function. Scott also has valuableexperience in new product development, brand management and marketing strategy.
Scott’s clients include Shell where he has managed a variety of projects linked to employee engagement, knowledge management and measurement. He has also worked on projects for Prudential, Yahoo!, KnaufInsulation and HSBC.
Other information
Scott has a BA (Hons) in Language and Communication from Cardiff University, a post-graduate qualification in management from the Nottingham Business School and holds the CAM Advanced Diploma in Marketing Communications.
