Dr Geoff Davies qualified in Medicine from Nottingham University in 1975. He served in the RAF for 22 years, initially doing primary care and GP vocational training before moving into the specialty of occupational medicine. In 1996 Dr Davies started work as a consultant in occupational medicine in civilian life and set up Adastral Health which was respected for its professional and honest approach. He developed experience in the commercial aspect of occupational health (OH) services as well as providing OH services to NHS Trusts, police forces, fire services, local authorities and private industry in the manufacturing, catering, utilities, construction and service sectors. He is currently developing a consultancy business, Lacon OH Consultancy and supporting the Commercial Occupational Health Providers Association to help develop the OH services industry.
