Before joining Royal Mail Group in 2002, Su was a specialist occupational physician with British Airways where her responsibilities included pilot licensing medical examinations, employment guide policies, attendance management programmes, stress awareness, release of medical records, employee opinion survey facilitation, and general occupational issues. Prior to British Airways, she worked as senior occupational physician with London Transport where amongst occupational health care of bus and train drivers, she was involved with the design of bus cabs, automatic gates, and other ergonomic issues. As an interest she gained a PSV to drive red buses. Dr Wang is an examiner for the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. She was the Faculty representative at the Civil Aviation Authority Medicine Forum.
