Mary Brassington

Mary Brassington manages the occupational health service for the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust which is comprised of departments on the Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital and Good Hope Hospital sites. In addition to the core business for Trust staff, she manages contracts with several large organisations in both the public and private sector and a number of SME’s accessing specific services through NHS Plus. Mary began her occupational health career in the private sector and moved back to the NHS in 1990. She is a visiting lecturer on the OH Diploma course for the University of Warwick and an external examiner for the Specialist Public Health Nursing BSc course at the University of Plymouth. She is the current and founder Chair of the Association of Occupational Health Nurses in the NHS (ANHONS).
