Bruce Warman has an MBA from London Business School, and is a qualified accountant. He worked for General Motors in the UK and USA in finance, distribution, manufacturing and general management positions, and has been a Finance Director and Managing Director of GM subsidiaries. He was appointed Director of Personnel for Vauxhall in 1988. Subsequently, he was Chairman of the CBI in the East of England, chaired the CBI Employment Relations Panel and CBI HR Directors' Forum, and was a member of the ACAS Council. Since retiring from Vauxhall in 2003 he has been a UK Management Representative at the International Labour Organisation, an executive coach and a member of the School Teachers’ Review Body. Other activities include being part owner of a motor industry service company and a member of the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
